Lantern & Path Consulting

 

Welcome!
By booking a session or purchasing a package, you agree to the following terms.  My goal is to provide you with clear guidance, personalized support, and a safe, professional experience.

1.      Appointments & Scheduling

  • Sessions are scheduled through Squarespace/Acuity.  You will receive a confirmation email once your appointment is booked.

  • Please ensure your email address is correct so you receive all important communications.

2.      Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • I understand that life happens!  You may cancel your session up to 48 hours in advance for a full refund or credit toward a future session.

  • If you need to reschedule, please do so at least 24 hours before your appointment.  This ensures I can accommodate your new time and keep the schedule running smoothly.

  • Sessions cancelled or rescheduled after these windows are considered final.  Thank you for your understanding!

3.      Payment & Refunds

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking for all sessions and packages.

  • Prices are subject to change; packages and sessions purchased at a previous rate will honor the rate at the time of purchase.

  • Personalized services (e.g., DNA reports, personalized action plans, consultations) are non-refundable.

4.      Packages & Multi-Visit Services

  • Packages include the specific sessions listed at the time of purchase.

  • Each session within a package must be scheduled individually using your client login.

  • Packages must be used within 1 year of purchase unless otherwise agreed.

5.      Intellectual Property

  • All content, reports, guides, templates, documents, and materials (“Materials”) provided by Lantern & Path Consulting are the exclusive intellectual property of Lantern & Path Consulting.

  • Clients are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Materials for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

  • Clients may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, share, publish, or create derivative works based on any Materials without prior written consent from Lantern & Path.

  • Unauthorized use of Materials, including sharing or reselling, may result in legal action, including claims for damages.

  • Any digital downloads or documents are licensed to the purchaser only.  Clients may not forward, redistribute, or post them online.

6.      DNA Accuracy & Limitations        

  • DNA analysis is probabilistic and based on current scientific knowledge, which may evolve over time.

  • Results are for informational purposes only and may not reflect all genetic or health factors.

7.      Scope of Services

  • Lantern & Path Consulting provides analysis, interpretation, educational guidance, and support based on your personal health history, environment, and DNA data.

  • Lantern & Path Consulting services are for informational and educational purposes only. 

  • Lantern & Path Consulting does not provide medical diagnoses, treatment plans, or medical advice.       

8.      Client Responsibility

  • You are responsible for verifying suitability and safety with a licensed healthcare professional.

  • Clients are solely responsible for any decisions or actions taken based on DNA interpretation or guidance provided.

  • Clients should verify any health-related actions with a licensed healthcare provider.

  • It is the client’s responsibility to provide accurate DNA data from certified testing services specified by Lantern & Path Consulting.

9.      Confidentiality

  • By providing information to Lantern & Path Consulting, you consent to it being used to prepare your personalized plan and provide follow-up support.

  • Personal information, client DNA data, and reports are treated confidentially and stored securely.

  • Clients understand that Lantern & Path cannot guarantee complete security and accept the inherent risks of transmitting digital files.

  • Information, including DNA data, is not sold or shared with third parties without your explicit consent.

10.  Liability

  • While Lantern & Path Consulting provides guidance based on expertise and research, specific results cannot be guaranteed.  You acknowledge that any actions taken based on advice are at your own discretion.

  • Lantern & Path Consulting will not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of DNA interpretation, guidance, or recommendations.

  • Use of Lantern & Path Consulting services constitutes assumption of risk regarding health, diet, or lifestyle changes.

  • In no event shall liability exceed the amount paid by the client for the relevant service.

11.  Communication

  • While Lantern & Path Consulting makes every effort to reply promptly, response times may vary.

  • Please note that email responses are intended for scheduling or clarifying questions.  Lantern & Path Consulting is unable to provide detailed guidance or coaching outside scheduled sessions. 

  • Please check your email (including spam/junk folders) for scheduling confirmations and communications.

12.  Updates to Terms

  • Lantern & Path Consulting may update these Terms & Conditions periodically.

  • Clients are responsible for reviewing the latest version prior to purchasing or using services.

13.  Acknowledgement and Agreement

  • You acknowledge you are either 18+ or have legal guardian consent.

  • By purchasing, accessing, or using Lantern & Path Consulting services, you acknowledge and confirm that:

    • You understand the scope, limitations, and risks of using guidance provided.

    • You agree to assume responsibility for all decisions and actions taken.

    • You have read and accept all terms within this Terms & Conditions agreement.

    • You agree to release Lantern and Path Consulting from liability associated with interpretation or guidance.
